About our Church
Warden Mennonite Church is a warm, caring community of faith based in the small farming town of Warden, Washington. Members of our church live not only in Warden, but also in the surrounding areas of Royal City and Moses Lake. We come from a wide variety of backgrounds and faith traditions. But though we are geographically scattered and differ in many ways, we share a love for each other and a love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We desire to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors and our world.
The heart of our life together is worship. Worship includes singing, sharing of joys and concerns, prayer, and a message from the Bible.
During the week, members may be involved in a variety of ministries. We share our high school youth group with the Warden Community Church. We have a Spanish Bible study, or Estudio Biblico, on Sunday evenings. Venture Club is a program for neighborhood children on Wednesday afternoon. We all try to follow Jesus in our daily life and work.
We feel led to a renewed focus on outreach to Hispanic members of our community.
Can anyone be a Mennonite?
You bet! Anyone who seeks to follow Jesus with her whole life can be a Mennonite. Mennonites are simply Christians who desire to do God’s will and abide by Jesus’ teaching–even the hard stuff, like loving enemies (Matthew 5:44) and being peacemakers (Matthew 5:9).
We invite you to join us for worship and Bible study!
